Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding market presence within industrial and technical service sectors. This role focuses on building a strong sales pipeline and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized, high-value solutions that meet client needs and support long-term business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target markets
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects, contracts, and service opportunities
  • Develop and deliver proposals, bids, and client presentations
  • Establish and grow long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
  • Assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions across services, projects, or maintenance offerings
  • Support clients with planning, budgeting, and general technical insight
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation and brand awareness
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within industrial, mechanical, or technical service industries
  • Proven track record of building client relationships and achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong technical aptitude or ability to quickly learn complex systems and solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems
  • Willingness to travel as needed
